Building in public — targeting Claude, late 2026

Just ask. It checks three platforms for you.

Room Hunter is a connector for Claude and ChatGPT. Ask for a hotel the way you'd ask a friend — it checks Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda at once and hands you a direct link to whichever one actually has the best rate.

The problem

You already know the rates don't match.

Same room, same night — a different number on every site. Checking three tabs by hand to find out which one is real gets old fast.

Prices genuinely diverge

Inventory, currency handling, and platform-specific promotions mean the same room rarely costs the same amount twice.

You're already talking to your assistant

If you're planning a trip with Claude or ChatGPT anyway, it might as well check the actual prices while it's at it.

No new app to learn

Nothing to install, no dashboard to check. It's a tool your assistant calls mid-conversation and forgets when you're done.

How it works

Three legs, one trip.

No account, no separate booking flow — just three steps that happen inside the chat you're already having.

01Ask

Tell it where you're going

Just say it in plain language — “Get me the cheapest rate for a hotel in Barcelona, next weekend, two people” — the same way you'd ask a friend, inside Claude or ChatGPT.

02Compare

It checks all three at once

Room Hunter queries Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda in parallel and normalizes the results — price, cancellation policy, and amenities — into a single ranked list.

03Book

You check out on their site, not ours

Pick the option you want and you get a direct, pre-filled link to that platform's own checkout page. Your payment details never pass through Room Hunter.

Pricing & trust

You pay exactly what you'd pay directly.

Room Hunter doesn't add a markup and doesn't charge you anything. When you book through one of its links, the platform pays a small referral commission — the same arrangement travel blogs and comparison sites have used for years. Room Hunter never saves your data: it runs your search, returns an answer, and keeps nothing afterward.

FAQ

Before you ask.

Will I pay more by booking through Room Hunter?

No. You pay the same rate the platform would show you directly. Room Hunter earns its commission from the platform, not from a markup on your room.

Do you save my search history or personal data?

No. Room Hunter doesn't save any user data — it runs each search fresh and keeps nothing once it responds. Your assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) holds the conversation, not us.

Which assistants will this work with?

Claude first — we're aiming for the Claude Connectors Directory later in 2026 — with ChatGPT support via Actions following shortly after.

What about Airbnb, flights, or car rentals?

Not in v1. The focus is hotels across Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda first. Other categories are possible later, once the core comparison works well.

When can I actually use it?

It's in active development — see the schedule above for the current phase. Leave your email and we'll let you know the moment it's live.

Be first to try it.

No spam, no newsletter — just one email when Room Hunter is ready to search on your behalf.
